January 2012 Day Crop

We do have to receive the $25 per person in order to reserve each persons spot. ALL deposits are non-refundable. So please only send money if you are truly interested! All spots are first come first serve.

In order for the scrapbooking day not be cancelled, we need to have at least 10 people sign up. If we happen to cancel the event due to not enough interest, everyone WILL receive their money back in full right away.

8 ft rectangular table with chair

A seperate "docking table" for your cricut and die cutting accessories. This will be placed as close to your cropping table as possible.

Extension cords for your machines. There are only 9 outlets in the entire room but we will provide 5 power cords to share. If you are bringing an extension cord, please bring duct tape as well to tape it to the carpet so that people will not trip on the cords.

There will be a block of hotel rooms for us for Friday and Saturday night!

Simply call the hotel and mention Croppin' Chicks Getaways and the date of the retreat to receive the discounted room rate. All hotel reservations are seperate from the cost of the crop time and need to be taken care of by each individual and/or group. Here are the details of the rooms!

Cost of each hotel room: $89+tax/per room/per night
(Tax is 14% for a hotel room in kent county)


Hotel Rooms include a 2 queen bed suite with pullout couch, coffee makers, hair dryers, irons, ironing boards, refrigerators and microwaves, free breakfast, free wireless high-speed internet access, and free local calls.

Check in time is 3pm. (if the rooms are available before they will let us know!)

Check out time is 11am.

There are ONLY 24 spots and the spots go fast!

June Crop and upcoming August 6th Crop

What an absolutely awesome time we had at our June crop!  We met so many new people and got so much done.  All of our guests participated in a break-out session where we completed a page layout for those summer pictures we are all taking right now.  We spent the day making new friends and doing demos and teaching on the Cricut and Cuttlebug machines along with showcasing some products from Creative Memories and Peachy Keen Stamps!

June 25th Day Crop

Our next day crop is coming up on Saturday, June 25th at Pathway Church in Byron Center.  We will be cropping for 12 hours again (10am - 10pm) and would love to have you join us.  We have met many new friends over the last few months and look forward to meeting many more in June!  The cost for the day is $25 and includes lunch, dinner, unlimited snacks and drinks and of course PRIZES!! 
 
If you are a digital scrapbooker, don't worry we have space for you too!  There is free wireless access available at the facility and we will help you get set-up with that as well. 
 
If you are coming from a distance and need recommendations for overnight accomodations, let us know and we can recommend some area hotels.

Spring Break 2011

We hope all of you had a great Spring Break 2011!  We both did different things with our families for Spring Break.  Jacqui and her family traveled to Surfside Beach, SC to enjoy the beach and some warm weather with her husbands side of the family.  Jennifer and her husband did the staycation thing this year and repainted the entire inside of their house as their Spring Break this year.

May 14th Day Crop

Spring is finally here, well at least on the calendar anyway :)  We already have several registrations for our May 14th crop and wanted to send a reminder that you can register for any of our upcoming crops at any time on our website.  When you select the form to register you can check the events for which you wish to register and we will send you a paypal invoice within 24-48 hours confirming your registration.

We are looking forward to our upcoming monthly crops and seeing lots of you there!  As always, we love referrals - so make sure to spread the word about our day crops.

2011 Monthly Crop Dates

We have finalized the rest of the dates for our 2011 Monthly Day Crops!  We are so excited about these crops and are looking forward to seeing our fellow croppers once a month instead of only a couple of times a year.
Our scheduled dates for 2011 are as follows:

  • Saturday, May 14th
  • Saturday, June 25th
  • Saturday, August 6th
  • Saturday, October 15th
  • Saturday, November 12th

Announcing Monthly Crops

New at Croppin' Chicks Getaways - MONTHLY CROPS!  Based on feedback from our guests we are adding monthly crops to our line-up of events!

Registration for our first monthly crop is now open.  Please join us on Saturday, March 12th from 10 am - 10 pm at Pathway Ministries in Byron Center at the corner of 84th St. and Byron Center Ave.  The cost for the monthly crops is only $25 and includes lunch, dinner, unlimited drinks and snacks, as well as creative sessions and of course prizes!  To register for this event click here.  Full payment is required within 7 days to hold your spot.
This is a monthly event that we will be hosting.  The remainder of the dates for 2011 will be announced later this week.
